The 45" Jumbo Blanket Loom is extendable on both ends, allowing you to add extensions whenever you want to make a wider blanket.

Start with the 45" loom and add extensions anytime you want to make a wider blanket.

By adding both extension pieces to the 45" loom, you can create a loom up to 96" wide.

Because the loom is modular, you can add or remove sections depending on the size of blanket you want to make.

Yarn is not included.  This loom is designed specifically for Jumbo #8 yarn (3 cm thick or about 1" thick).

Important:
Jumbo #8 yarn - 1" thick can also be used on the standard Chunky Blanket Loom, but the blanket will come off the loom wider than the loom itself.

Designed by the Original Chunky Blanket Loom™ Creator, our loom designs have been developed to produce beautiful chunky knit blankets with consistent, reliable results.

When chunky blankets first became popular, the stitches were much larger. Today makers prefer a more filled-in stitch, and our peg size and spacing are designed to produce that style of blanket.

We also use a lighter hardwood rather than heavy woods like solid oak or maple. Since the blanket itself already adds weight while you work, a lighter loom makes the knitting experience easier to handle and more comfortable to use.
