The Pivot & Slide System allows Chunky Blanket Loom™ boards to be mounted to it for easier movement while knitting larger blankets. For the best pivoting and sliding experience, the system is designed for loom setups up to 65" wide. Larger loom configurations can still be mounted, but due to the added weight and length, pivoting and sliding may be limited.

The Chunky Blanket Loom™ was created to make chunky blanket knitting easier, faster, and more consistent for makers of all skill levels.

Designed by the Original Chunky Blanket Loom™ Creator, our loom designs have been developed to produce beautiful chunky knit blankets with consistent, reliable results.

When chunky blankets first became popular, the stitches were much larger. Today makers prefer a more filled-in stitch, and our peg size and spacing are designed to produce that style of blanket.

We also use a lighter hardwood rather than heavy woods like oak or maple. Since the blanket itself already adds weight while you work, a lighter loom makes the knitting experience easier to handle and more comfortable to use.
