Does the Pivot + Slide System come with a loom?
No. You must supply your own loom or purchase one from us.
Can I add a loom to my Pivot + Slide order?
Yes. Add any Uppercase Designs loom to your order and save on loom pricing and shipping. Loom purchases also include Lifetime access to our 100+ Online Video Tutorial Bundle.
I'm new to loom knitting. What should I buy?
Many beginners choose to purchase a Pivot + Slide System together with one of our looms. This creates a complete loom knitting setup and includes Lifetime access to our 100+ Online Video Tutorial Bundle with your loom purchase.
Most customers start with the Original #7 Chunky Blanket Loom™.
As a general rule, the length of the loom determines the width of your finished blanket. Simply choose the loom length based on the approximate width you would like your finished blanket to be.

Will my loom work on the Pivot + Slide System?
The Pivot + Slide System is designed for all Uppercase Designs looms.
For non-Uppercase Designs looms, the optional Loom Support Board is recommended and can improve support and stability for many loom styles.
If you're unsure about your loom, contact us before ordering and we'll be happy to help.
Do I need the Loom Support Board?
Most Uppercase Designs looms work well without it. However, we recommend the Loom Support Board for hinged looms, sectional looms, longer looms, heavier projects, or loom designs that require additional support.
What is the height of the Pivot + Slide System?
The standard legs are 27" to the underside of the Pivot Top, resulting in an approximate finished loom height of 31" depending on your loom and setup.
If you prefer a lower setup, we can substitute 25" legs for the standard 27" legs upon request at no additional charge.
What is the width of the Pivot + Slide System?
The Pivot + Slide System has a table width of 45".
What size looms work best on the Pivot + Slide System?
The full Pivot + Slide experience is optimized for looms up to 65" long.
Many customers successfully use longer looms as well. For longer looms, we recommend adding the optional Loom Support Board for additional support and stability.
While longer looms may reduce the overall range of pivoting and sliding movement, the Pivot + Slide System still provides a dedicated workspace without taking over dining tables and kitchen counters.
Does the Pivot lock?
No. The Pivot does not lock. Instead, it tightens to provide resistance while still allowing you to reposition your loom when needed.
Can I use more than one loom?
Yes. The Pivot + Slide System includes enough slider pads for two looms. Additional slider pads are available if you'd like to use more looms with the system.
What are the slider pads?
The slider pads are adhesive-backed hook-and-loop pads that attach to your loom and allow it to slide on the Pivot + Slide System.
The system includes enough slider pads for two looms. Once applied, the pads can remain on your loom, making it easy to switch between compatible looms.
Can I use it sitting down or standing up?
Yes. The standard setup is designed for seated use. Optional Adjustable Leg Lifters are available if you would like additional height or standing use.

I already own the Pivoting Legs. Do I need the entire system?
No. If you already own the Pivoting Legs, you can purchase the Slide Top separately.
Is assembly difficult?
No. Basic assembly takes only a few minutes. Hardware, instructions, and an online assembly video are included.
Does this include tutorials or patterns?
