Frequently Asked Questions – Pivot + Slide Loom System
What if my loom isn’t very rigid at the joints?
If your loom has multiple sections or extension pieces and you’d like additional stability, we recommend selecting the optional Loom Support Board. It helps maintain alignment and improves overall rigidity while knitting.
Does the Pivot + Slide System come with a loom?
No. You must supply your own loom or purchase one from us if you don't already have one.
What size looms can I use with this System?
The table is compatible with looms up to 65" long. Longer looms can still be used, but the sliding feature is optimized for looms up to 65", we recommend adding the Loom Support Board.
Does it work with the Original Chunky Blanket Loom™?
Yes. It was designed to integrate seamlessly with all Chunky Blanket Loom™ products.
IMPORTANT: Does it work with all Looms?
Your knitting loom can work with the use of the Loom Support Board if it does not stay rigid while using.
Can I use it sitting down or standing up?
Yes. Optional low-rise and high-rise loom lifters make it easy to use in several positions.
What are the pads?
The pads are adhesive-backed Velcro pads used with the slider mechanisms. You may use multiple looms with the system (one at a time), with each loom requiring two pads. Once applied, the pads remain on the loom, allowing looms to be easily interchanged as needed.
I already have the Pivoting Legs, do I need to purchase the whole system?
No, you will need to purchase just the top Check it out here
Is it hard to set up?
No. We assemble as much as we can that still allows us to pack and ship. Generally, there are 2 screws at the top of the each leg and 2 screws that go into each foot with an included Allen key. We tape these screws in the holes where you need them so that it makes for a quick and easy assembly. A tutorial video for how to assemble is included.
Does this system include tutorials or patterns?
No. You’ll need to use your own loom tutorials or you can purchase the tutorials from us that include over 100 Online video tutorials and pattern stitches, accessible anytime of the day - Lifetime! Or you can purchase a loom from us and receive the Tutorials free with the purchase of our loom. Check out all of the looms available by the original creator www.UppercseDesigns.ca
