24-Hour Opening for Shipments to United States

We are opening shipping to the United States for a 24-hour period only. We anticipate this will be the final test to ensure orders are passing through U.S. Customs without issue.

To place an order for shipment to the United States, you will need to order between 1pm, December 4th through 1pm, December 5th, 2025. We will try our best, but we cannot guarantee delivery by Christmas.  Should US government regulations change prior to shipment of your order, any additional costs will be the responsibility of the customer.

Please review the following information, as we may not be able to respond to all requests or phone calls as quickly as usual. We hope this information will answer many of your questions.

When You Place an Order

  • Please make sure you have entered your contact name, address, phone number, and email correctly. If edits are required, it may add to processing/shipping time.

  • Ensure you select the correct product at checkout so that we don't add time to modify your order.

  • The Pivot and Slide System is different from the Convertible Loom Table and does not include a loom. You must already have a loom or purchase one.

  • If purchasing a loom with your Pivot and Slide, the loom will ship in a separate box at no extra charge.

  • Discount codes must be applied at checkout, as we cannot make adjustments afterward.  If you need assistance, please contact us before placing your order: info@UppercaseDesigns.ca

Pivot and Slide System

Pivot and Slide System for LoomsThe Pivot and Slide System works with most rigid generic looms and all Uppercase Designs looms. A few generic looms are not compatible; these are listed at the bottom of the page. If in doubt, please reach out before ordering. (also see below)

Measuring Your Loom:
Measure front-to-back — 1-1/2", 1-3/4", 2", or 2-1/2" (or more).
Choose the exact size; do not size up.

Recommended Length:
The Pivot and Slide works best with looms up to 65" for ideal sliding and reach. Longer looms can be used but slide less and may require additional reach.

Low Rise Loom Lifters

Low Rise Loom Lifters raise the legs. They are helpful if you sit in a counter-height chair or a chair with higher armrests. The most economical time to add Loom Lifters is when you purchase your Pivot and Slide.  I personally use the 25" height. With the loom on top, the working height is approx. 28"–29". It can pivot towards your slightly for comfort. For reference, my sofa seat height is 19".

High Rise Loom Lifters
High Rise Loom Lifters are best if you want to stand while looming or use a walking pad.  If you do not plan on either, you won't need this option.

Extra Pads
Each Pivot and Slide System comes with 4 pads (enough for 2 looms).
If you own more then two looms, please add more pads so you have 2 per loom.

The Convertible Loom Table

The Convertible Loom Table is not the Pivot and Slide System.  It is a loom whose legs act as supports.  The legs can be removed and attached to the top piece to create a much longer loom (approx. 93"). When converted, the legs cannot be used for support, so the loom must sit on a counter or table.  The Convertible Loom Table does not come with the Pivot and Slide System, but the Pivot and Slide can be purchased separately.

Chunky Blanket Looms for 2cm - 3/4" thick yarn in sizes 45", 63" and 78" are our most popular looms.  Check out the Extendable/Expandable Looms too. The most popular set up for the serious crafter is the Pivot and Slide System with our Pro Pak 3 piece loom product.

U.S. Shipping

Orders will be shipped in batches, in the order they are received. We will monitor orders as they clear U.S. Customs. Once one batch clears, we will release the next.

Expected time before release for shipment: 7–10 days.

Due to additional paperwork requirements, we may create your shipping label before the order actually ships. This allows us to release it immediately once cleared.

We are optimistic that this is the final stage of testing. Once complete, we will fully reopen U.S. shipping.

A Final Note

My daughter and I cannot thank you enough for your patience and support. We design and make all of our products ourselves, and we are just as excited about the Pivot and Slide System as we are about all of our products.

Thank you very much for your business.

All of our loom product orders come with over 100 tutorial videos and stitch patterns for life, no additional fees or subscriptions and access to new tutorials.

(Please note: The Tutorial Bundle is not included with the Pivot and Slide System, as it's not a loom but we are offering 10% off the Tutorial Bundle when purchased with the Pivot and Slide Product.) Remember if you purchase a loom, you don't need to purchase the tutorial bundle.

Sincerely,
Shelley & Sarah

Note:  We are not able to ship our yarn to the United States

Third-Party / Generic Loom Compatibility

While many third-party or generic looms may be compatible with the Pivot & Slide System, compatibility depends entirely on the loom’s structural rigidity and ability to remain stable during use. Because designs vary widely, we cannot guarantee compatibility with all non-Uppercase Designs products. The following guidelines are provided to help assess potential fit:

1. Modular Loom Boards or Extensions
Looms that consist of multiple sections joined with Velcro or connections that allow movement are not compatible unless permanently affixed to a long, thin, lightweight, rigid backing board. Some customers choose to glue, nail, or screw sections together to increase rigidity; however, as these modifications fall outside our control, we cannot guarantee performance.

2. Hinged Looms
Hinged looms may be compatible only if the hinge locks completely flat and any attached feet or pads can be removed. If the feet or pads cannot be removed, the loom will not work with the Pivot & Slide System.

3. Plastic Looms
Plastic looms are typically constructed from short sections connected by screws and/or adhesive. These may only be compatible if rigidly mounted to a solid backing board. Without additional stabilization, they are not suitable for use with the Pivot & Slide System.
