Compatibility for the Pivot + Slide System

Why you may require the Loom Support Board

The loom must remain rigid and maintain alignment during use. If it does not, the Pivot + Slide System will not perform as intended.

Multi-piece or extension-style looms often do not maintain this rigidity without additional support.

The Loom Support Board creates a stable, consistent base so the system performs properly.

The Pivot + Slide System is designed specifically for Uppercase Designs Chunky Blanket Looms™.

Our looms are built to work directly with the system without additional support. For longer looms (over 65") or heavier blankets, some makers choose to add the Loom Support Board for extra stability.

Using a different loom?

If your loom is not from Uppercase Designs, the Loom Support Board is required to ensure proper stability and smooth sliding.
