The Loom Support Board is an optional add-on designed to increase rigidity and alignment when using certain multi-piece or extension-style looms on the Pivot + Slide System.
While many looms perform beautifully on their own, some longer or sectional designs benefit from additional base support — especially when working with extension pieces.
This board expands compatibility and provides a firmer, more stable knitting experience.
What It Does

When You Might Want It
The Loom Support Board is helpful if your loom:
• Has extension pieces that are not supported
• Feels flexible at the joints
• Shifts slightly under tension
• Is a multi-section design
It’s not required for most rigid looms — but it’s available whenever you want added stability and peace of mind.
Size & Fit
Length: 45-1/2"
If your extension pieces are longer than the board, they may extend past the ends by up to 50% of their length on either side.
The Loom Support Board will raise the overall height of your Pivot + Slide System by approximately 1".
When ordering, simply select the width of your loom from the drop-down so we can send the correct Support Board size.
Example:
If your loom is 46" long × 2" wide × 1" high, select 2".
If your loom is 65" long × 2-1/2" wide × 3/4" high, select 2-1/2".
We use the width measurement to send you the correct support board to ensure proper fit .
Included for You
To make setup simple, we pre-install the required Velcro on the Loom Support Board before shipping.
• The Support Board arrives with the necessary Velcro already attached
• 8 additional Velcro pads are included for your extension pieces
• Allow 2 pads per loom section — enough for 4 loom boards
This ensures proper alignment and stability right out of the box.
Optional: If you have more than four loom pieces, you may need to add additional pads. While all sections may not fit on the board at the same time, you can configure different loom lengths as needed.
